About us

CME – is an organization, which unites specialists in the area of information and telecommunication technologies, based on research-and-development center of the interdisciplinary studies in National Technical University of Ukraine (NTUU “KPI”).
Our team numbers 7 permanent members. We maintain close contact with staff and graduates of NTUU “KPI” in order to provide development of successful implementation of high-end projects. In total our team has over 200 000 planning hours worked.
Current high experience of our research center in development of science intensive systems allows to use creative approaches in work and offers the most effective solutions for our clients.

Providing service

We carry out professional researches in area of engineering and architectural IT-solutions, also we provide service in challenging problems solution, related to information systems development in different areas of knowledge.

Research and consulting

·         Data domain research and key problem statement formalization for their following automation;
·         Logic design of task solution and business-processes formalization for their following implementation as a part of information system;
  • Solution of the scientific and practical challenges in such directions as:
    • optimization of business-processes,
    • comprehensive data analysis and forecasting,
    • determination of the key performance indicators;
·         Architectural solutions development in the informational systems for operating efficiency increasing concurrently with total input decreasing;
·         Requirements for IT-infrastructure development to achieve maximal operating efficiency of an information system in key problems solution;
·         Research of available IT-infrastructure and  report preparation with a specifying of “bottleneck”;
·         Determination of IT-infrastructure optimization arrangements in order to increase efficiency of using available hardware resources and software and decrease TCO.
 

 

Development, implementation and maintenance of information systems

Integrated infomedia web portal of NTUU “KPI”

Pilot project of an in-house web portal NTUU “KPI” has been implemented.

-to speed up and to order a process of information’s transmission, updating, gathering and analysis. 
-to adjust interaction between more than 200   departments;
-to automate the work of staff, high-school-teachers and students in total 40 000 persons;
-to import of existing data, integration with legacy  information systems.​
 
 
Virtual high-school teachers room
An engineering solution includes complex actions in development of fail-safe IT-infrastructure with high reliability, safety and operating speed.
Software includes template solutions, which in a short time allow to develop virtual working environment (“Virtual room”, “Electronic office”) for staff, high-school teachers, scientists, student groups, students etc. and to provide its implementation in the whole university.

A wide-ranging implementation in NTUU “KPI” is being planned from September 2011.
 

 

Development, implementation and maintenance of scientific information portal «Наука-Інформ» [“Nauka-Inform”]

 
Scientific information portal «Наука-Інформ» [“Nauka-Inform”] has been developed, implemented and is being maintained. Its main goal is to represent the most important project engineering of Ukrainian scientists and provide the information about essential historical events in science and culture field.
 
 
Main purposes:



-     to develop the integrated informational scientific-technical space in Ukraine;
-     to inform the wide audience of Ukrainian and foreign scientists about up-to-date technologies and know-how;
-     to inform about domestic and international theoretical and practical conferences and scientific events;
-     to exchange of scientific results between scientists from different countries.
For the first time in Ukraine (despite of a small budget) the problem of different scientific resources’ integration and informing about progress and science popularization in wide audience was solved .
 


Development, implementation and maintenance of information portal
«
Наука ВНЗ»

 
Information portal has been developed, implemented and is being maintained in order to support interaction between pro-rector council of scientific work (in the institutions of higher education with III-IV accreditation levels) and directors of scientific institutes of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine for solving strategic goals in scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities. The project has a low-budget.
 
 
 
 
Main purposes:

 


 
-     to automate an interaction between pro-rector council of scientific work (in the institutions of higher education with III-IV accreditation levels) and directors of scientific institutes of Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine  ;
-     to increase an efficiency in organization and holding of scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities in the institution of higher education as an essential part of education;
-     to improve cooperation with institutions of National Academy of Sciences (NAS) and other Academies of Science;
-     to coordinate scientific researches of the universities in priority science and technical fields;
-     to analyze, conclude and prepare the offers to Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine  about solving of current and strategic educational goals, in scientific, scientific-technical and innovative activities.
Implementation of the portal «Наука ВНЗ» allowed to improve interaction between pro-rectors of scientific work and to gain time for information exchange in ​order to work out the current and strategic goals.
 

Development, implementation and maintenance of information portal «Життєзабезпечення» [“Zhyttezhabezpechennja”]

 
Information portal has been developed, implemented and is being maintained in order to represent to the community information about the reforming in housing and communal services and implementation of scientific and innovative solutions in this field.
 
Main purposes:

 
-     to develop workflow, related to reforming in housing and communal services and the newest achievements and developments in life-support field;
-     to fulfill an informational analysis on the housing and communal services market;
-     to give advices in questions about housing and communal services;
-     to develop an attractive place for the advertisement of the housing and communal services’ offering;
-     to improve computer-aided information about novelty through subscription to news posting of certain parts and the whole portal.​​
 
 
One of the most important goals of the National program of reforming and developing housing and communal services (law of Ukraine from 24.06.2004 № 1869-IV), notably a press coverage and publication in Internet, was solved despite of a small budget and  short time for this project.

Data-processing system of special purpose

Data-processing system of special purpose was developed and implemented for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine.
When working on projects that have specificity for admission to restricted information, a key aspect of our work is confidentiality.

Adaptive technology for information processing in heterogeneous telecommunication environment

Models and methods of information processing based on knowledgebase in distributed environment are developed. Toolkit for knowledgebases design and development, their connection to data domain, adjustment and adaptation is developed.
 
Main purposes:
-       to automate the information processing in complex administrative institutions;
-       to automate the process of knowledgebase design in terms of data domain;
-       to construct the model for information processing based on knowledgebase;
-       to develop software modules for information processing using adjustment and adaptation to the data domain without additional programming;
-       to automate the process of software modules binding to heterogeneous databases, which allows information processing in terms of data domain.
  
 
 
 












 
 

Mathematical methods and software for the potentially dangerous objects analysis

Mathematical models, methods and software for the risk assessment of the groups of potentially dangerous objects and recommendation generation were developed.
 
Main purposes:
 
-       to automate the information processing for the potentially dangerous objects analysis;
-       to automate the process of design and adaptation of information processing models;
-       to automate the recommendation generation process for the improvement of situation depending on the object’s state.
 
  



 
 

 

Development, deployment and maintenance of the regional and the central segment “The Chornobyl Data Base”

 
Information system was developed and deployed to automate management activity in fields of the social protection of population, suffered from the Chernobyl Catastrophe after-effects, and providing of targeted assistance.
 
Main purposes:
 
-       to automate the process of providing of targeted assistance for people, who suffered from the Chernobyl Catastrophe after-effects (over 110 thousand persons only in Kyiv, more than 3 million in Ukraine);
-       to automate the process of information exchange between regional departments and main department;
-       to automate the process of benefits misuse;
-       to provide comprehensive reporting system;
-       to support decision making in planning and implementing social protection, targeted assistance providing.
 
 
 

 

Information system “Liky”

 
The information system “Liky” was developed and deployed to automate verification of the compensatory amount from the city budget, given by pharmacies to the Main Department of the executive agency of the Kyiv city council (Kyiv City State Administration) for population protection against the Chernobyl Catastrophe after-effects.
 
Main purposes:
 
-       to automate the information transmission about persons who got free medicines from  pharmacies (over 110 pharmacies in the Kyiv city) to the Main Department;
-       to automate the persons checking process for legality of obtaining benefits on free medicines;
-       to automate verification of the compensatory amount from the city budget;
-       to provide comprehensive reporting system;
-       to support decision-making in the planning of the city budget expenses for compensatory amount.
 
 


 

Information retrieval system “Chergova chastyna”

 
The System was developed for monitoring and analysis of the road traffic accidents and crimes information in Ukraine.
 
Main purposes:
 
-       to automate the process of collecting, storing and processing information about road traffic accidents, traffic violations by drivers, vehicles thefts, traffic violations by pedestrians in the regions of Ukraine (27 regions);
-       to automate the process of transferring information from the regional departments to the Department of State Traffic Police of Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine;
-       to provide comprehensive reporting system;
-       to support decision-making for quick reaction to the situation deterioration on the roads of Ukraine.
 
 
 

 

Information system MNS-INFORM. Emergency Response Block

 
The concept, the basic models and mechanisms were developed, whose main tasks are to support units’ interaction in responding to emergencies, technical equipment accounting, the sanitary zones calculation, etc. The software is used for the business process in Regional Emergency Administration.
 
Main purposes:
 
-       to automate the process of emergency registration and reporting to operational duty of the Ministry of Emergency of Ukraine;
-       to automate the process of determining the object’s sanitary characteristics depending on the highly toxic substances propagation;
-       to automate the process of an emergency registration;
-       to provide information about evaluation of the chemical cloud propagation and the impact of the accident on the nearest settlements;
-       to automate the determination process of the composition, quantity, characteristics and location of the technical equipment;
-       to automate public  warning process;
-       to provide comprehensive reporting system;
-       to provide possibility of the emergency simulation for staff training.
